September sounds:

A playlist is the way to my heart. I came to know music through none other than (you might see a theme here) my mom. She raised us on the sounds of Willie Colon, Celia Cruz, and Donna Summer. As I got older, music became my language. It was where I went to escape, to dream, and to feel seen, and to this day, it still serves as a portal to all of those things for me.

Each month, I make myself a little playlist to capture how that month is feeling through sound. Going forward, I am going to try to share it here because I want your music recommendations, too!

This month's playlist is a collection of songs I listened to while dreaming up this little project. Some classics, some new, all inspiring to me.
